Well-being
Well-being interventions are tailored to the individual pupil’s need and we recognise that well-being is influenced by many different factors. Past experiences, attitudes and outlook can all impact on well-being.
The overall aim of well-being interventions is to help a pupil build positive social and emotional skills. Well-being interventions allow the pupil to have a safe space in which they can manage their own thoughts, feelings and behaviours. We know that when pupils have a positive sense of well-being, they perform better in all areas of their lives.
